A SOLO exhibition by Alistair Frost will open at the main Dixon Street gallery space of the Mary Mary gallery, Glasgow, on September 7.
A second show at the gallery's project space at Alexandra Park Street will run parallel to the main exhibition.

AN exhibition featuring the work of artist Wilhelmina Barns-Graham will open on September 8 at Gracefield Arts Centre in Dumfries. This year marks the centenary of the birth of the Scottish artist and the exhibition charts her life and career. To launch the exhibition, WBG Trustee Jenny Wilson will be giving a informal talk on her life and career on the opening.

HELLCAT Records are re-releasing the Joe Strummer albums Global A Go-Go and Streetcore on September 25, to mark the year the late singer would have turned 60. The albums are being released on CD and vinyl. The label is releasing special re-mastered editions of all of Strummer'salbums.

THE EH1 Live all day music festival returns on September 16. The festival celebrates some Scotland's best unsigned music and takes place across five venues in Edinburgh, with over 50 bands performing in one day and evening. The line-up includes The Phantom Band, Miniature Dinosaurs, Make Sparks and the LaFontaines.
