Volunteers with sight loss to conduct tour

A TOUR of Kelvingrove Park led by people with sight loss and visual impairment, designed by the artistic director of Terra Icognita, Victoria Beesley, will take place next month.

Beesley has been working with a group of visually impaired volunteers to create the new tour.

As I See It Is has been made in partnership with the Arches and funded by Awards for all and Glasgow Arts and tour guides have explored the relationship that they have with Glasgow.

The project will culminate in them leading an audience of a maximum of 10 people for each Walking Tour on November 8.

The tours will also be available as an audio download so the walks and stories of the participants will be available for audiences to listen to independently when they can.
