In 2011, under the label Atelier EB, artist Lucy McKenzie and designer Beca Lipscombe presented The Inventors Of Tradition. Part exhibition, part catalogue and part fashion collection, through it the two women examined the legacy of Scotland's textile industry. Work in this display and in a subsequent collection called Ost End Girls in 2013 was sold directly to the public through a series of showrooms.

Now the collective is back in Glasgow with a further exploration of fashion, art, architecture, design and cultural identity curated by design promotion body, Panel.

The Inventors Of Tradition II is found within the super-stylish setting of the Palace of Art at Bellahouston and features a new fashion collection, furniture, display and artworks by Lipscombe and McKenzie. A temporary shop will be in situ which will allow the public to buy garments from the collection.

An events programme will run in tandem with the exhibition and will focus on the work of two prominent creative Scots, choreographer Michael Clark and filmmaker Murray Grigor. Three double bills of Grigor's films will be presented in partnership with GFT, while four performances of O YES, a recreated dance inspired by Michael Clark's work YES O YES from I Am Curious, Orange will be staged in the Art School (Glasgow School of Art Student's Association) building.
