If, like me, you are partial to a spot of myth debunking served up with your history lesson, then this could be the exhibition of the year.
In partnership with the Swedish History Museum in Stockholm, the National Museum of Scotland (NMS) is the only UK venue for Vikings!, an exhibition of more than 500 objects, including jewellery, weapon fragments, carvings, precious metals and household items relating to the Scandinavian warriors of old.
