Holography in the spotlight
The first retrospective of The Royal College of Art's Holography Unit, 1985-94, will open at Glasgow's Glue Factory on September 14. The exhibition, by Alastair Frazer and supported by Creative Scotland, aims to provide the first look back over the life and work of the department, with over 40 holographic works produced by over 20 artists at the Kensington premises.

Tantalising Tantallon
The Lammermuir festival launches on September 14. The highlight will be Tantallon! These Lands This Wall on September 17. This site-specific event is set in the grounds of the medieval ruins of Tantallon Castle. Aonghas MacNeacail and William Sweeney have written a new work for the event and the music will be performed by Red Note Ensemble
