l Brass Jaw tenor saxophonist Konrad Wiszniewski and pianist Euan Stevenson are touring their nine-piece band to mark the launch of new album New Focus. Arising from the pair's enthusiastically received collaboration on scaled-down arrangements of Stan Getz's legendary Focus album for Edinburgh Jazz Festival in 2011, Wiszniewski and Stevenson have put together a set of original music and will take the group formed for the Edinburgh concert and including bassist Michael Janisch, drummer Alyn Cosker, the Glasgow String Quartet and harpist Alina Bzhezhinska on tour. They are at the Jazz Bar, Edinburgh, on October 26; Glasgow Art Club, October 27; Pizza Express, London, November 13; the Institute, New Lanark, November 24; and the Lemon Tree, Aberdeen, November 29.

l House music producer and DJ Lil Louis is to debut the world's only House Music Art Gallery and Mobile Museum. Presented by the Sub Club, the pop-up exhibition will be on show at South Block, Osborne Street, Glasgow, on Saturday. It forms part of the club's 25th anniversary celebrations. Lil Louis will play at the Sub Club on Saturday night.

l The exhibition Outrageous fortune: artists remake the Tarot by Hayward Touring/Focal Point Gallery is at Stranraer Museum until October 20. As part of the project, 78 artists have been asked to create a card for a contemporary tarot pack. Each artist has been drawn a card from the classic tarot de Marseilles deck and has been asked to re-interpret it.
