l French music magazine Diapason has named a recording by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and former musical director Stephane Deneve as its album of the year.
Stephane Deneve Conducts Debussy was released on the Chandos label in May to great acclaim, and now adds the Diapason d'Or de l'Annee to its haul. This is the second time the RSNO and Deneve have won the award, the first for their 2007 recording of the orchestral works of Albert Roussel.
l For the first time since their Victory Tour in 1984, Jermaine, Jackie, Marlon and Tito Jackson reunite for a series of live concerts that brings them to Glasgow's Clyde Auditorium on February 28. "There's nothing like having all the brothers on stage at the same time," said Jackie. "And I know that at each concert MJ's spirit will be in the house with us."
