l Greywalls House at Muirfield in East Lothian is celebrated in a new book and exhibition opening at Gullane Art Gallery next month.
The house is the only one in Scotland by celebrated Edwardian architect Edwin Lutyens, who designed the colonial hub of British India, New Delhi.
A total of 60 works featuring the house will be on display at the gallery from March 16-April 7, and gallery owner Roy McGregor has written the book, Greywalls: A Hidden Gem, with Giles Weaver, whose family has owned the house, with now operates as a hotel, since 1924. The book is published on March 15.

l The Kosmos Ensemble, whose performances uniting classical musicianship with traditional music from the Balkans and beyond have drawn enthusiastic critical and audience response, play a series of concerts in Scotland in March.

l Glasgow's Art Exposure Gallery has long championed affordable painting and ceramics, and director Frances Lowrie was one of those particularly critical of the demise of Glasgow's tented Art Fair in George Square, where the Art Exposure could be guaranteed to cram the most work on to the stand's available wall-space.
Those who miss both the fair and that gallery's range and style of work should make an appointment to visit its own premises in Parnie Street in March instead, when a new exhibition of work by Jane Gardiner, Donald MacLeod, Alan Beveridge and Lowrie herself opens, under the title Spring in the City.

l The 50th anniversary of the death of Joan Eardley, at the age of just 42 from breast cancer, is being marked by the Scottish Gallery in Edinburgh's Dundas Street, with a selling exhibition in April.
The show coincides with the publication of a new book on the influential Scots artist by Christopher Andreae which draws on unpublished letters and works in private collections.
The exhibition includes some of those alongside 30 pieces of art for sale and will run from April 3-27 before moving to the Portland Gallery in London.
