Frank Skinner and Joan Bakewell are to return as presenters for a TV painting contest with this year's winner to be displayed at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery.
Sky Arts has announced its Portrait Artist Of The Year programme will return in the autumn for a second run with the victor landing a commission to paint a notable and well-known figure.
Last year Nick Lord triumphed, winning the chance to portray double Booker-winning novelist Hilary Mantel, with his work going on to be displayed at the British Library.
Viewers will see eight hour-long heats from October, with the winner - who collects a £10,000 commission and year's supply of art materials - crowned during a 90-minute finale.
Judges for the contest, to be screened by Sky Arts 1, will be portrait artist Tai Shan Schierenberg, the former head of exhibitions at the Royal Academy, Kathleen Soriano and Kate Bryan from the Fine Art Society.
Keen artist Skinner said: "I had such a fantastic time last year learning all about painting and watching some really talented artist progress through the competition. I jumped at the chance to host the series again."
Entrants, over the age of 16, can apply at sky.com/portrait before May 1.
