THE annual celebration of chocolate eggs (and, of course, the resurrection of Christ) has arrived again with Easter Sunday just around the corner.
It's a day for quiet reflection, rolling painted hens' eggs down hills and overindulging in chocolate goodies - plus listening to our Easter-themed playlist.

The final song on the Roses' debut album, the second half of I am the Resurrection is an instrumental outro, while the first half uses lyrics containing biblical language.

Patti Smith Group's Easter was released in 1978 to critical acclaim and is now regarded as the band's commercial breakthrough.
Hunt
Goldfrapp
Headed up by singer Alison Goldfrapp, Hunt appeared on the 2010 album Head First which received a nomination for Best Electronic / Dance album at the 2011 Grammy Awards.
It Will Rain
Bruno Mars
The pint-sized pop star released love ballad It Will Rain in 2011 and the single featured in the end credits of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1.
White Rabbit
Jefferson Airplane
The second song to achieve top ten success for the band, White Rabbit uses imagery found in the works of Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and comes from the album Surrealistic Pillow.
Chocolate
The 1975
A band fronted by the son of TV actors Denise Welsh and Tim Healy, Chocolate went silver in 2013 and peaked at number 19 in the UK singles chart.
Bank Holiday Monday
The Stereophonics
Bank Holiday Monday served as a taster track for the sixth studio album from welsh indie band The Stereophonics, which was entitled Pull the Pin. It was released through record label V2 back in 2007.
All Rise
Blue
Arguably the most successful single by boy band Blue, All Rise went to number four in 2011 and formed part of the album by the same name which spent a total of 63 weeks in the United Kingdom albums chart.
