James Corden is to host comedy sports panel show A League Of Their Own for a further three years after broadcaster Sky extended its deal.

The presenter is signed up for 30 more editions of the Sky 1 programme, which features team captains Jamie Redknapp and Freddie Flintoff, as well as regular panellist Jack Whitehall.

The series famously came up with runner Mo Farah's "mobot" celebration, prior to his Olympic gold-winning double, when the track star was a guest.

A League Of Their Own returns for its eighth series in the summer, with a new run each year until 2017.

Murray Bolan, the creative director for the programme's production firm CPL, said: "It's great to be returning with a further three series of A League Of Their Own - the last series was our most successful ever and it just keeps getting better and better."
