Kaiser Chiefs star Ricky Wilson said BBC bosses have not talked to him about his future on The Voice.

The singer told Graham Norton he was "loving" the band's return to making records three years after their last album.

He said: "I'm enjoying it a lot more this time. I really didn't appreciate it the first time round - it went by so fast so I'm stopping more to savour the moment."

Asked if he would return as a coach to The Voice, he said: "I haven't been asked yet and I'm not sure who has been asked. I was always a wild card. I was the least famous person at the party."

His fellow coach, Kylie Minogue, has already announced she has quit the singing show to concentrate on her own music career.

The pair joined this year, appearing alongside Sir Tom Jones and will.i.am who have been coaches since it began in 2012.

The BBC is committed to a further two series of The Voice.
