No free dates in diary for Dr Lee

CLARINETTIST and saxophonist Dick Lee is one of the busiest musicians on the Fringe. Fresh from his Commonwealth Games commission for his Dr Lee's Prescription band, Lee has multiple dates with five different shows in his Fringe diary.

His duos with pianist Brian Kellock and accordionist David Vernon and his Swingtet all have gigs at Valvona & Crolla, as does Philip Contini's Be Happy Band, which features Lee and his wife, flautist Anne Evans, and Lee and Evans also present A Very Edinburgh Celebration at the Storytelling Centre with former Edinburgh makar Ron Butlin from August 17-25.
