It's an eclectic journey through alternative rock, dance, electronica, indie, choral, punk, post-grunge, folk and... well see for yourself.

28 Man Of Moon - The Road. Highly promising wild Edinburgh shoegaze-grungers burn the city down
27 Mark Knopfler - Beryl. With a familar flavour of Dire Straits, the band he led, the Glasgow-born multi-instrumentalist produced a solo career highlight with a single inspired by novelist Beryl Bainbridge.
26 C Duncan - Here To There. It's so familiar. The debut album's most obvious foray into more uptempo art pop - yet still with his now signature bewitching choral beauty in its DNA.
