Megadeth star Dave Mustaine has written a song which was inspired by Scottish actor Sam Heughan's performance in Outlander.
The former Metallica guitarist told his fans on Twitter, "Poisonous Shadows was actually inspired by a tremendous performance by my friend Sam Heughan in Outlander at the end of last season."

Heughan, who plays Jamie Fraser in the hit the Starz show, was raped at the end of last season by his arch-nemesis Captain Jack Randall in the series' most controversial scene yet.
The track Poisonous Shadows is taken from Megadeth's fifteenth studio album.
The frontman has previously revealed his love for the show and Scotland.
He said: "We’re huge fans and my wife and daughter have also fallen in love with it."
