Tell us about your Fringe show
Like all good Pity Parties, there will be sadness, song and fellowship. But this show features new tunes and a few tips on how to battle the doldrums that keep us down.
Best thing about the Fringe?
Camaraderie and cuddles.
Worst thing about the Fringe?
Waiting in the long queue at The Clam Shell.
How many years have you been coming to the Fringe?
This is my second year doing a full run. I snuck in at the 2014 Fringe and did a secret show. That’s when Edinburgh put its spell on me like a seductive banshee.
Favourite Fringe venue?
I’m partial to my charming Piccolo tent because we’re all up close and it’s situated in the magical George Square. Who doesn’t love Astro Turf?
Best Fringe memory?
High-fiving all the frolicking Fringe-goers on my walk through the Meadows each evening.
Best heckle?
Does an unsolicited sing-along count as a heckle?
Craziest on stage experience?
Pashing Noel Fielding right on his pasher.
What’s on your rider?
Free aspirin and tender sympathies. I’ll take as much as I can get.
How do you wind down after a show?
Puddles cuddles in the garden with all the pity partiers.
What do you love about Scotland?
Scotland is sassy and strong and green. It energizes me.
What do you like about Edinburgh?
I love how Edinburgh is able to preserve the auld while embracing the noo.
What’s the most Scottish thing you’ve done?
Enjoying a noon-time pint and watching the horse race with the old-timers at the Leith Dockers Club. T'was an honour, gentlemen.
What kind of jokes do a Scottish crowd seem to respond to?
The funny ones.
Favourite joke?
Waiting in the queue at The Clam Shell. That joke is always on me.
Favourite Scottish food/drink?
SUBWAY £5 Footlong!

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
