Sarah Callaghan talks about her new show, 24.
1 Tell us about your Fringe show?
My show is a 24 hour love story like Titanic or Pretty Woman except no one gets wet.
2 Best thing about the Fringe?
Doing my hour everyday and not having to get public transport. I'm so skint, when I get the tube back home in London I'm jumping over barriers like a rubbish Mo Farah.
3 Worst thing about the Fringe?
The odd bad apple in an orchard of dreams.
4 How many years have you been coming to the Fringe?
Seven years. You'd get less for murder, if you're Oscar Pistorius.
5 Favourite Fringe venue?
The cupboard at the Free Sisters. Fantastic room. Two seater. Always sells out.
6 Best Fringe memory?
Performing at the Playhouse last year as part of the Forth on the Fringe showcase. Sick gig!
7 Best heckle?
I rarely get heckled but weirdest thing to distract me was a guy sitting on the front row just reading a book.
8 Craziest on stage experience?
When I did the rat pack last year, Nathan Cassidy sang and Patrick Monahan did a stage dive and crowd surfed the audience. It was hilarious.
9 What’s on your rider?
Puppies.
10 How do you wind down after a show?
Just by going home and having a snooze. I love snoozing. Back in the day it would of been 10 pints and passing out in the road but I'm a changed woman now! As the old famous saying goes - you snooze, you win.
11 What do you love about Scotland?
The crack. Or is that Ireland?
12 What do you like about Edinburgh?
Its a beautiful city and I actually like the hills, etc as it's the only time of the year where I exercise and can look slightly less like a potato.
13 What’s the most Scottish thing you’ve done?
Walked up Arthur's seat and shouted FREEEEDOM!!
14 What kind of jokes do a Scottish crowd seem to respond to?
Proclaimers gags, no one tires of them.
15 Favourite joke?
All of my jokes from my show '24'. Every single one is hilarious, they are all my favourites. Especially the Proclaimers gag its ground breaking.
16 Favourite Scottish food/drink?
Irn Bru is a banging drink.

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
