FOLK band Shooglenifty have released a video of the concert they staged at Celtic Connections in January in tribute to their late frontman, fiddler and composer Angus R Grant. Grant died in October last year and the band gathered guests including fiddlers Adam Sutherland, Charlie McKerron, Duncan Chisholm (pictured), Eilidh Shaw, Gavin Marwick and Laura Wilkie to play Grant’s own music, Shooglenifty favourites and songs Grant knew and loved at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.

Proceeds from the video will contribute to the completion of a documentary about Grant and the band, with a percentage from each transaction going to Cancer Research's work into the prevention and treatment of oesophageal cancer. The video is available to stream and download.
