SCOTS violinist Nicola Benedetti has given fans a rare glimpse of her rehearsing for the start of the new concert season with the RSNO on social media.
The 30-year-old soloist took the almost unpredecented step of inviting fans to the session launch, which saw her perform the technically demanding Elgar Violin Concerto, and allowed them to record and post video and images of her practising on social media.
One of the musicians taking part, Katherine Bryan sent a tweet of Benedetti in action, adding: “officially allowed to tweet in rehearsal! (I think...)”
