Ken Dodd plays Nicolas Cage playing a hitman in the Pang brothers' remake and rejig of their 1999 debut. The mysterious Joe (Cage, crazily coiffed once more) has arrived in the Thai capital for what he hopes is his last job. He's no sooner told us that the first rule of his trade is not to get involved than he's taken on an apprentice and is making mad eyes at a local girl. If you can believe all this, what follows is a slickly done, fairly entertaining, highly silly smash em up and shoot em up experience from the directors of The Eye series. Those who don't see the twists coming a mile off are paying way too much attention to Cage's hair.
