Entrepreneur; Born January 7, 1944; Died April 13, 2009.Bill Fleming, who has died aged 65, was one of Scotland's best-known entrepreneurs, who began his working life as a labourer on the Duke of Hamilton's estate. From there, his career encompassed everything from magazine publishing to the Smiley chain of fast-fit depots for motorists. He even survived personal bankruptcy.
