Caroline Gill has won the Professional Woman of the Future Award for her achievements as a production geologist at Shell UK.
Ms Gill is an expert in reservoir modelling, operations geology and infill well design, and is based in Nigg. Judges of the awards, hosted by Real Business in association with Shell, praised Ms Gill for promoting the sciences and mentoring other aspiring young geologists.
Jeanette Yulie, head of sub-surface data management Europe at Shell's Aberdeen operation, was highly commended in the Mentor of the Year category.
Turquoise Mountain's Shoshana Clark was highly commended in the MBA Star category.
