The Edinburgh office of actuaries and pension consultants Punter Southall has reported a 23% jump in income during 2012, following a move to bigger premises to accommodate a 10% increase in staff.

The firm says it maintained its 100% client retention record and added Forth Ports Group to its client base, which grew 30% over the year.

The best performing sector was investment consultancy. Gerry Devenney, head of office, said he expected further growth with the advent of automatic enrolment into workplace pensions.
