BRODIES managing partner Bill Drummond has been appointed chair of the Scottish Council for Development and Industry.
Mr Drummond has been on the SCDI board since 2004 and was most recently deputy chair. He replaces energy industry veteran Robert Armour.
Mr Drummond said: "The economic climate and current constitutional debate will shape the future of Scotland for decades as it will for all our organisations, and I look forward to SCDI playing a pivotal role in informing and supporting Scotland's decision-makers."
