HENDERSON Global Investors has bought the landmark Mercantile Chambers on Glasgow's Bothwell Street for £5.2 million on behalf of a private client.
The asset manager bought the property at 53 Bothwell Street from KPMG, the administrator to a City Site Estates portfolio, which went into administration last year.
With a Grade A-listed façade, Mercantile Chambers has retail space on the ground floor with seven floors of offices above. Tenants include J Sainsbury and the Department for Communities and Local Government.
