VERTU Motors chief executive Robert Forrester has bought more than £11,000 of shares in the company.

The 19,784 shares he acquired took his stake in the fast growing motor dealer to more than 6.54 million or around 1.94% of the issued share capital. Finance director Michael Sherwin spent around £10,000 buying 17,958 shares to take his holding in the AIM listed business to almost 328,000 or 0.1%.

Vertu trades under the Macklin Motors brand in Scotland.
