FASHION brand Superdry is opening its first Scottish outlet store at the Gretna Gateway retail park.

The store, which is to start trading in March, is expected to create between 10 and 15 jobs.

The Dumfries and Galloway shopping destination also said it had attracted a record two million visitors in 2013.

Like-for-like sales among its tenants, which include Marks & Spencer, Nike and Gap, were up 6% with total sales rising by 9%.

Peter Gardiner, general manager at Gretna Gateway, said he was "proud" of the performance.
