THE annual report of logistics group Interbulk showed it paid a lower service agreement fee to Jim McColl's Clyde Blowers in 2013.

The document states the total fee for last year came in at £429,501, compared with £474,935 in 2012.

The payment is said to cover the services of finance director Scott Cunningham and Mr McColl, as well as in-house legal provision, general administration and office space.

Mr McColl's fee for being a non-executive director was steady, at £20,604 in 2013.

Mr Cunningham saw his remuneration increase from £165,076 to £186,939 thanks to his bonus more than trebling to £27,295.

The 2012 fee did include a small payment in relation to former Interbulk chairman and non-executive director Bill Thomson, who resigned in late 2011. Mr Thomson is still an operating partner at Clyde Blowers.
