Psigma Investment Management is to open an Edinburgh office and has hired Tim Wishart from Rathbone's as an investment director to lead the firm's expansion in Scotland.
Mr Wishart has been 12 years with Rathbone's, the past seven at the firm's Edinburgh office, after starting his 24-year private client investment management career with James Capel in London. John Howard-Smith, chief executive of Psigma, said there was excellent growth potential in Scotland.
