WOOD Group chairman-elect Ian Marchant has bought around £107,000 of shares in the oil and gas company.
According to a stock market notification, Mr Marchant, who was formerly chief executive at SSE and currently a non-executive at Aggreko, bought 15,000 shares at £7.14.
That takes his total holding in Wood Group to 22,777 shares which is equivalent to 0.006% of the issued share capital.
Mr Marchant will take over as chairman of Wood Group in May to succeed the retiring Allister Langlands.
