Hotels group Millennium & Copthorne said profits for last year increased to a record £263.6 million after revenues per available room improved 3.4% to £69.58. It benefited from higher room rates in the United States and increased occupancy in all regions except Singapore and some Asian destinations. The Millennium and Grand Millennium form the largest part of the group's portfolio, with 44 hotels and around 16,000 rooms.
