AEGON UK is revamping its protection business and looking to hire six new people within the distribution team.
The division offers products in areas such as income protection, critical illness and life cover. Dougy Grant, formerly retail strategy director, becomes protection director with responsibility for the whole of that division.
John Wilkinson, who only joined Aegon from Nationwide in June last year, has already left the Edinburgh insurer after the role of protection distribution director was made redundant.
