LAW firm Aberdein Considine has doubled its staff numbers in the Scottish capital during its first year of operating in Edinburgh.

It now has 30 people working across its two offices in the city.

The site on Lothian Road specialises in property and finance work, while the Exchange Tower base on Canning Street, which handles litigation work across a number of sectors, has already been extended since opening in May last year.

Four new partners - Leonie Donald, Graham Scott, Julian Scott and Naeema Sajid - were recently added to the team based at the Exchange building.

Harvey Aberdein, managing partner, said the firm continues to look at more hires and is considering acquisitions in the central belt.
