FAMILY-owned fish processor Whitelink Seafoods has reported falls in both turnover and profit.

The Fraserburgh company's annual accounts, covering the 12 months to June 30, 2013, show turnover was down from £46.73m million to £45.93m. In the same period pre-tax profits dropped from £424,017 to £371,276 mainly as a result of a higher financing charge. A positive cash flow helped the company narrow its £1.9m net debt and end the period with the figure standing at £1.59m.

The accounts confirm the business remains owned by Marie Sutherland.
