Keep up the flow

BUSINESS Stream, the Scottish non-domestic water supplier, has appointed change James Cardwell-Moore as director of sales and marketing.

Mr Cardwell-Moore, who joins from outsourcing specialist Capita, has 10 years' experience of the utility sector, having formerly served as head of business change at Thames Water.

His appointment is designed to help Business Stream boost its core Scottish business and expand south of the Border, where the non-domestic market will open up to competition from April 2017.

Mr Cardwell-Moore said: "It's an exciting period for the water industry and a great time to be joining Business Stream.

"The company has ambitious plans for expansion in England, with the added challenge of maintaining its market-leading position in Scotland. That's no mean feat, but the business is well-equipped to meet the task, and it's a challenge I relish.
