CLARK Contracts has had a record new business quarter after pulling in more than £21 million of work.
The construction and maintenance firm, founded by Steve Clark in 1978, said it secured more than 30 contracts between April and June this year.
The value of the awards ranged from £145,000 to £2.6 million with the total going in to the order book put at more than £21.2 million.
The company, which employs around 200 people across bases in Paisley and Edinburgh, highlighted a number of the construction contracts it had won.
Among them were the building of a learning facility at Sky's call centre site in Livingston, new industrial units from Riverside Inverclyde and a third phase of work on the A listed Custom House in Greenock.
The Scottish Prison Service awarded contracts for work at Perth, Barlinnie, Castle Huntly, Cornton Vale and Fauldhouse with local authorities in West Lothian, East Ayrshire, North Lanarkshire, East Dunbartonshire and East Renfrewshire also on the client list during the quarter.
In the education sector Clark Contracts is building an extension at Glasgow University's Garscube campus and refurbishing student accommodation at St Andrews University.
Alongside the construction wins the maintenance division won mandates from tourism agency VisitScotland and The Salvation Army as well as a renewal from Scotmid.
Gordon Cunningham, managing director of Clark Contracts said, "In terms of winning new business, this is the most successful quarter ever in the company's 36 year history.
"It's encouraging because the marketplace remains an extremely competitive environment."
The company posted a 20 per cent rise in turnover to £37.6 million in the 12 months to October 2013.
Mr Cunningham said the company was confident of achieving its targets in the current financial year.
He added: "We will continue to develop."
