THE A HUME Country Clothing range has been shortlisted for two prestigious fashion retailing awards.
The Kelso-based retailer has been nominated in the best independent multi-channel operator and lifestyle independent of the year categories in the Drapers Independents Awards 2014.
Archie Hume, managing director of A Hume Country Clothing, said: "Recognition on this scale does not come without blood, sweat and tears - you have to be up there with the best, the groundbreaking names in the game. And our ability to compete at this level is a testament to the total dedication and talent of our entire team.'
"This is a pivotal moment in our 85-year history. My father and grandfather would be so proud."
The winners will be announced at The Brewery in London on September 17.
