XEUREKA Solutions, the business systems provider, has appointed a new head of marketing.

Jacqueline Reid, pictured, joins the East Kilbride firm from Logitech, where she was marketing communications manager.

Ms Reid brings skills in brand management, marketing communications and managing international dealer networks to the role.

She said: "I am particularly pleased to have been invited to join the Eureka team. Eureka has an unrivalled reputation for top of the range product specialism as well as technical expertise and customer service.

"I want to bring my extensive experience in national and international spheres to bear in the ongoing marketing effort with the ultimate aim of providing an even better, best-in-class quality of service."

Project manager

XPROPERTY consultant Ryden has hired project management specialist Craig Tennant, pictured, as a partner.

Mr Tennant, previously a director with Currie & Brown, has 20 years' experience of managing major development and infrastructure projects across the UK and Africa.

Initially based in Ryden's offices in Glasgow and Aberdeen, his role will take him work on both sides of the Border.

Andrew Cliff, head of Ryden's project and building consultancy group, said: "As one of the most skilled experts in this field, Craig has a wealth of experience across all sectors and the ability to create real value for our clients by delivering end-to-end projects.

"Craig also has the vision and ability to significantly grow this aspect of our business."

Mr Tennant is currently leading project management on the proposed 250,000 square foot headquarters for oil and gas company Total E&P UK in Aberdeen. Projects previously led by Mr Tennant include Glasgow 2014 venues the Emirates Arena and Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome.

Ryden has also hired David Lindsay as an associate at its Edinburgh office from DTZ, while newly-promoted associate Patrick Kilbane has moved from Aberdeen to Dundee.

Staff on the rise

PROPERTY consultancy JLL in Scotland has promoted seven staff to senior positions across various disciplines at its offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Niall Robertson, Alistair Reid and Andy Crosbie have become local directors in Glasgow, where Alex Fraser, Shahid Ali and Iain Wallace have been named associate directors.

Cameron McCallum has been promoted to associate director in Edinburgh.

In total, JLL has promoted nine Scottish staff have been promoted,by the firm.
