THE owner of computer games retailer Game has said that sales jumped 30 per cent after a strong second half to the year.

That means Game Digital is on track to meet analysts' annual forecasts of £43.7 million.

The business, which has 327 stores in the UK and 233 in Spain, returned to the stock market in June after collapsing into administration two years ago.

It said it ended the current trading year with a net cash position in excess of £80m.
