THE Co-operative Group has agreed to sell its security business Sunwin Services for up to £41.5 million to American ATM management firm Cardtronics.
Bradford-based Sunwin, which employs 1,500 staff, guards cash in transit and provides ATM support.
Richard Pennycook, Co-op's interim chief executive, said he was pleased the deal had been completed.
Cardtronics is also set to operate the ATM estate in Co-op's food stores by January 2016.
