ABERDEEN-based Dana Petroleum said appraisal drilling on a find in the Danish North Sea had underlined the potential of the discovery.
The Korean-owned company said the latest well on the Lille-John field confirmed the presence of light, sweet oil, which had flowed at a healthy rate. Dana acquired a 40 per cent interest in the licence containing the find last year. It has other interests nearby.
