THE SHANGHAI Airport Authority has demonstrated video security technology provided by Scottish company IndigoVision to Nicola Sturgeon, during the First Minister’s trade mission to China.

The company’s technology is in operation at Shanghai Hongqiao airport. This is one of seven Chinese airports currently using IndigoVision’s technology.

IndigoVision said: “The First Minister was impressed to see Scottish technology in use in such a prestigious location, finding out the benefits it brings the airport and [about] IndigoVision's growth plans for the airport sector in China.”

Ms Sturgeon met with IndigoVision chief financial officer Holly McComb.
