Nine businesses win green awards
Nine Scottish companies have been recognised in the 16th annual Vision in Business for the Environment of Scotland (VIBES) Awards.
The joint winners were City Car Club, Taylor Wimpey West Scotland and C&D Associates, while awards also went to Better World Books, Emtelle UK , CMS Window Systems, Aberdeen Heat & Power, Bridge Biotechnology and Lobster Pod. Clyde Shopping Centre and Tinto Toners received commendations.
Five micro-businesses - Brae Cottage B&B, Castle Enterprise, Uist Wool, Greenspace Live and Loch Ken Bothies - were presented with certificates of best practice for their environmental efforts.
