THAMES Water’s business supply division has moved from Edinburgh to a bigger base in Linlithgow, West Lothian, as the company mounts what it calls a major growth drive in Scotland. Thames Water Commercial Services said it supplies services on 1,300 sites across Scotland to clients drawn from sectors including banking, leisure education and retail. The firm has been operating in Scotland for around three years, led by Alan Munro. Non-household customers in Scotland have been able to choose their water supplier since 2008. The market in England will be opened to competition in 2017.
