MAGAZINE publisher Future has announced it is acquiring Imagine Publishing, the company behind Digital Photographer and World Of Animals, for £14.2 million.
Imagine publishes 19 magazines in and is expected to turnover £16.4m this year, on operating profits of £3.1 million. Future chief executive Zillah Byng-Thorne said: "This is a unique opportunity to acquire a market-leading knowledge, science and technology content business which will complement and expand our capabilities." Future, which publishes TechRadar and Total Film, reported flat revenue of £30.2m last year.
