ABERDEEN-based subsea vehicle specialist ROVOP plans to create jobs after winning business in the Gulf of Mexico and the North Sea. The company said it expects to increase global workforce numbers by up to 10 per cent this year, from 135. It recently completed a pipeline installation campaign in Mexico with a local firm, which has led to follow-on work. ROVOP said it has been increasing its focus on delivering efficiencies that would help customers respond to the crude price slump.
