MENZIES Distribution has won its largest retail logistics contract to date after securing a three-year deal with WH Smith.
The deal will see Edinburgh-based Menzies operate from the three WH Smith distribution centres in Birmingham, Swindon and Dunstable, as well as deliver to the retailer’s stores from its own network of depots.
It builds on the existing relationship between the companies, with Menzies having provide retail logistics in Scotland and the north of England in the last 18 months.
Paul McCourt, managing director of Menzies Distribution, described the deal as a “significant milestone” for the company.
