REMY Cointreau has appointed Simon Coughlin, chief executive of its Bruichladdich Distillery Company, as the head of its new whisky division.
The drinks giant created the unit following its acquisition of Seattle’s Westland Distiller, and French distiller Domaine des Hautes Glaces.
Remy bought Islay’s Bruichladdich in 2012.
