THE search to find Scotland’s top recruitment businesses is underway, as the s1jobs Recruitment Awards 2017 gets set for its sixth year.

The awards, organised by s1jobs in association with Search Consultancy and supported by Recruit Ventures and Plus, reward businesses large and small who have shown innovation and success in the Scottish recruitment market.

The excitement is building for this year’s event, hosted by comedian Kevin Bridges, but there is still time to enter.

Simone Lockhart, managing director for Search Consultancy in Scotland said: “Search knows all too well the importance of having a good reputation when hiring new talent. We’re looking for businesses with an exceptional name in recruiting who are highly regarded by jobseekers – we encourage any business, big or small, who fits this bill to enter.”

Categories are split across user votes and business applications which are judged by our experienced panel.

Ahead of the March 3 deadline, we are asking all s1jobs users to go online and vote for their favourite agency, consultant or brand, with all participants entered into a draw to win an iPad Mini.

Other categories, such as Best Employer Training and Development, Best Newcomer and Best Recruitment Campaign require a written entry which can be uploaded to our site.

The Best Large Recruitment Agency is this year supported by Plus. Andrew Burton, sales director UK, Plus, said: “The awards present a great opportunity to reflect on a turbulent year and showcase how innovative and buoyant our industry really is.”

Best Small Recruitment Agency is supported by Recruit Ventures, whose group managing director Paul Mizen, said: “This award gives us the opportunity to celebrate and reward those recruitment agencies who are already achieving business success.”

Full details of all categories are available at www.s1jobs.com/awards, where you can also enter. For more information on how to get involved please contact Lyndsay Wilson on 0141 302 7407.
