SHARES in energy group Drax took a tumble after the firm revealed that underlying pre-tax profit more than halved from £46 million to £21m last year.

The group pinned the fall on challenging commodity markets and the government’s removal of Climate Change Levy exemptions. Shares were down more than five per cent in afternoon trading.
